Welcome to River Bird Lodging and Retreats, offering beautiful, peaceful river front lodging right on the Kiamichi River. We are located outside of Albion, between Talihina and Clayton, Oklahoma. We are blessed to own 12 private acres, mostly of woods. We are so excited to offer Retreat at the River for up to 10 retreaters lodging in three of the following suites: Eagle’s Nest Suite with four twin beds, the Mockingbird Suite with four twin beds and our special Kingfisher Suite with a king bed for two. Our retreaters will have access to a creative space with up to 10 individual stations with comfortable rolling chairs, lighting and power strips. Retreat at the River is perfect for sewing and quilting retreats, women’s ministry retreats, small church retreats, friend retreats and small family reunions. We have a new salt water hot tub to enjoy some down time and relax! Our property is a beautiful expression of God’s beauty in nature! A new updated website is coming soon with pictures and videos of the new spaces for our retreaters. Retreat weekends will be Thursday – Sunday, check-in at 9 am or after and check-out Sundays by 5 pm. Retreaters will have the option to extend their retreat weekend to include Wednesday or Tuesday for an additional fee. More details to come with the new website. Beautiful Vacation Getaway

Ready to relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and a river? Here in the countryside of southeastern Oklahoma, with the Kiamichi River steps away and the beautiful Kiamichi Mountains as the backdrop, you can unplug, relax, go fishing, kayak or nothing at all and rest in God’s beauty!

River Bird Pets Provided

Several of our on-site friendly pets might greet you upon arrival. We have a boxer and three outside cats.

Waterfront Activities

What fun it is to play in the river on a hot day. We have great river access from a gravel bar at our property. It’s a little walk from the rental cabin and you can launch your own kayak, go fishing or just play in the water. Enjoy the water and make memories that will last a lifetime!

Our duplex cabin guest suites offer comfortable king bed en-suite with two extremely comfortable rocking recliners in the living area and fully stocked kitchens. Each one bedroom suite can sleep up to two people. Our rates are listed below.

  • Mockingbird Suite, $185 per night + 6.5% tax

  • Eagles Nest Suite, $200 per night + 6.5% tax

  • Kingfisher Suite, $200 per night + 6.5% tax

  • Weekends are two night minimum unless we have last minute availability.

  • Guest pets by owner approval, $50 per pet non-refundable fee up to 2 max
